  4. It builds from a brief you’ve confirmed.

Six things it needs to know, however long that takes.

It works from broad to specific and skips anything you’ve already answered. It stops when it can explain your idea to a stranger and you’d agree. Say “just go” and it writes the brief with the gaps marked.

    Who it's for, and what changes for them. One sentence you both agree on.

  2. The real challenge

    The problem under the request, which is often not the feature you asked for.

  3. Picture

    A real moment: the first screen, or the last time this got in your way.

  4. References

    What already comes close, and where it falls short.

  5. Edges

    What it must not be. If you say yes to this, what are you saying no to?

  6. Success

    How you'll know, within ten seconds, that it's right.

What the agent does with it

  • Past over future

    Instead of: Would you read a weekly digest?

    It asks: When did you last miss something a teammate shipped?

  • Dig under the feature

    Instead of: Which filters should it have?

    It asks: What would filters let you do that you can't do now?

  • Don't pitch

    Keeps its own ideas back until the brief is confirmed.

Install it once. Ask for it when the idea is fuzzy.
